"Jack Dawson… Penniless artist who wins a ticket onto Titanic in 1912, attends a first class dinner, develops a taste for the finer things in life, pockets the Heart of the Ocean, survives the sinking, pawns the diamond, spends the following ten years building his wealth and in 1922 moves to West Egg as Jay Gatsby… Millionaire with a shady past and fear of swimming pools."

Audrey, Wait!

Audrey, Wait! - Robin Benway I thought it was a really fun and enjoyable read! Good for what it was!

The Light Between Oceans

The Light Between Oceans - Ml Stedman What a surprise this novel was. It was heartbreaking, and definitely results in conflicting emotions. The ending had me in tears. I heard that this is going to be a movie, and I can't wait to see it. I just hope that it does the book justice, because it really was wonderful!

What Happened to Goodbye

What Happened to Goodbye - Sarah Dessen This was my first Sarah Dessen and I enjoyed it! I will definitely be readings others. I posted a full review on my blog http://promisestoread.blogspot.ca/

Warm Bodies

Warm Bodies - Isaac Marion I have never rooted for a character in a novel more than I rooted for R. I made the mistake of seeing the movie first, which I hate doing, and as always, the book was far superior. I still did love the movie so you can only imagine how I feel about the novel.

Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska - What is it about boarding school that is so fascinating? I am addicted to novels that are set in a boarding school, and Looking for Alaska was no exception. I really enjoy every character in this novel; they all had so much depth. There are so many aspects of Pudge's characters that remind me so much of my brother which only added to my love of this book. John Green leaves the readers to answer so many questions for themselves and I love that aspect of his writing. I am running out to pick up my next John Green novel now! Just can't get enough!

The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty - Jenny Han This is the story about every girls dream summer, I know it was mine when I was a teen. I also have a summer house at the beach and had a few summer loves but never anything like this. Belly is such a real and honest character which makes her totally relatable. Going in to this book I was under the impression that it would be a quick read about a cute summer romance but it is much more than that. Can't wait to pick up the next two novels of the trilogy to read on the beach.

Invisible: A Novel

Invisible - Carla Buckley I really liked the idea of this novel, and I did think it was well executed. I also enjoyed the fact that it was written in two different point of views. However, I did not find that I made a connection to either Peyton or Dana. I also was very dissatisfied with the ending as I feel like I didn't really have any closure. An epilogue would have been much appreciated! I would pick up another novel by Carla Buckley because I did enjoy her writing style. It is worth the read.

The Fault in Our Stars

The Fault in Our Stars - John Green I have read at least 7 books since I finished The Fault in Our Stars, but I still find my mind drifting to Hazel and Augustus. This novel is so many things- it is witty, depressing, uplifting, hilarious, etc etc etc. My copy is definitely covered in tears. There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like about it. John Green is also extremely fascinating and intelligent. I recommend you check out his channel on youtube called vlogbrothers.

Divergent (Divergent Series #1)

Divergent - Veronica Roth I have no words!

The Time Keeper

The Time Keeper - Mitch Albom Mitch Albom never seems to disappoint. This is certainly another winner. This novel may not be for everyone, but it is throught provoking and will stay with me forever.

The Guardian

The Guardian - Nicholas Sparks I love that I can always count on Sparks for an easy read that keeps me up all night reading. I loved this one! I instantly fell in love with Mike, and of course Singer! I wish it went a little deeper in to Richards mental state, as it is something that interests me, but none the less, this book was well written and another win for Nicolas Sparks!

Promises to Keep

Promises to Keep - Jane Green I picked this up on a whim at Walmart for $5, and I am glad I did! I found that I could relate to many aspects of this novel, and it was definitely a tear jerker. I cried much more than I had expected.
